Can't get to the plot this week, I'm in hospital with cellulitis, must have been bitten by something.

My ankle swelled up quite badly, overnight on Tuesday. Hoping to be allowed home today.

It's not as sore now, been on strong antibiotics since Wednesday, dr says I can go home when swelling has gone down and I can have oral antibiotics.

Don't need to go to plot to water, chillies can dry on the plants and only a few toms left in the GH.

I had a tetanus a couple of yrs ago.

  • Zoomer is you ankle still swollen?

terrible you think tetanus would stop such things

well weather changed a bit was wet for a while - so been looking at pallet ideas on internet.com

Lucky for cutting the grass yesterday

I'm at home now, just been watching the Paralympic's.

Was going to ask the committee if anyone else on the allotment's have had any reactions from possible bites. It's the third time for me, I was in hospital last year with meningitis and encephalitis, I was told they were rare strains and wouldn't happen again, I picked up a virus from somewhere though.

I guess I'll never know how I've been infected think I'll start covering up more.

My older brother carries adrenaline injections because he's allergic to bee stings.

  • Zoomer there has been a lot of chat on the forum about bites and stings and lots of people use Avon Skin-So-Soft dry oil as insect repellent.

It is used by the army and is very successful. You could maybe try that. It certainly won't do any harm (and it smells nice too) so you could relax again in your garden. You've had a rotten old time of it.

I hope you're fully recovered now. image
