Hello been up to day on own , lots of little jobs done and have started renewing paths with the shredded material that gets delivered and started clearing the remaining rasberry forest
Gardengirl hope the weather stays kind so you get the shed finished
IGrow , o/h went shopping and got some chick peas from morrisons , long sell by date so ready for next year
Would like to nip to plot this evening and have a burn up but gong to be busy the next 4 days , I fact this afternoon going to The New Bomber Command Memorial
Zoomer that is terrible just looked it up, horrible, dangerous and painful hope things get better soon and you can go home - if you had a cut, bite so many things could of caused it
Lucky with my bites they are getting less itchy today
Weather has got quite windy today is dry though, GWRS have a nice time
I'm at home now, just been watching the Paralympic's.
Was going to ask the committee if anyone else on the allotment's have had any reactions from possible bites. It's the third time for me, I was in hospital last year with meningitis and encephalitis, I was told they were rare strains and wouldn't happen again, I picked up a virus from somewhere though.
I guess I'll never know how I've been infected think I'll start covering up more.
My older brother carries adrenaline injections because he's allergic to bee stings.
Zoomer there has been a lot of chat on the forum about bites and stings and lots of people use Avon Skin-So-Soft dry oil as insect repellent.
It is used by the army and is very successful. You could maybe try that. It certainly won't do any harm (and it smells nice too) so you could relax again in your garden. You've had a rotten old time of it.

It's not as sore now, been on strong antibiotics since Wednesday, dr says I can go home when swelling has gone down and I can have oral antibiotics.
