Just ordered above, ankle still slightly swollen, I can walk on it though and when sat I need to keep it elevated.
We've had a really wet summer, Scroggin. It's been good for fruit and veg. The soil has never really dried out before another down pour. Lots of slugs and snails though I've had to use pellets.
Zoomer hope better at home poor ankle and you, I guess you can do lots of planning and list making for your allotment plot and also looking at catalogues for inspiration
I have had Marshalls catalogue though and like the basket blackberry plant thornless
Plant pauper that sonds good may get some as well, thing all ways try and bite me and sometimes get me
Hello went to the allotment the other day later on managed to cover shed again as tarpaulin got blown about wood knocked in and puddle on the covers
Went on a small wonder noticed the plot next to mine 180 had emptied the dirt wheelbarrow (was wild flowers and used to be on plot behind them -till he dumped it) had holes in left that behind
Wood pile gone, mum noticed no lock on shed had a small nose all emptied - so may get some new neighbours - the plot was there grandfathers - but meant to be the granddaughters, it has been a few weeks to if they will take it I guess not they did have lots of kids - so it will be nice if someone will tame it and take it on
Been painting bench for garden project nearly there the other bench to sand and paint
Hi all, been off for week so catching up on your news, sorry to hear about your leg Zoomer, glad your better. Used to have a horse with that problem,it was a nightmare, both his back legs would swell up really badly. Used hot and cold compresses to try and get the swelling down
Everything growing really well, only had blight on 2 tomato plants so whipped them out quick! courgettes and tomato' s seem to be never ending, having to get very inventive about cooking them. Luckily hubby likes them.
Had to get the garden back into shape since the cedar tree was removed, so not much time spent at the plot. we have leveled the area and put gravel over for our outdoor dining set, looks very smart now. only had time to do a quick harvest and mow the paths before it gets dark.
Chinese man on plot next door is clearing his plot and planting now so its a lot nicer
Had some great news, a letter from the Council inviting me to the prize giving evening again, its not till October so I will let you know how I get on!! (got a certificate for best new comer last time)
GWRS good for a bonfire, I need one as blight on potatoes so need to be cut down
Ginagibbs that sounds interesting council inviting you to a prize giving, nearly there with outdoor area just to finish the pallet benches - painting wise
Pallet trip today as needed more long boards to re do some raised beds as wood started rotting, going to try and make sometime later a box to store plant trays and some pots
Going to allotment plot on weekend after seeing if Wyevale are doing the free tulips bulbs - hope so

What a bargain, GWRS, Aldi are so good in terms of value for money.
I have some of their hand tools, stainless steel and ever so cheap.
