It was milder here. Disassembled the shed roof ready to put it back on and did a few small jobs.

Janetclaire winter wash does cost quite a bit but should do a lot of trees, Sounds as though you are doing the right thing from looking at this website

What size is your new plot?  where abouts are you?  me in Hampshire

Yesterday got more digging done at plot only for a few hours was cold nearly done the area I wanted to get done

    See original post

     Hi Garedngirl

I am in Poole, Dorset. We had a big plot on the edge of the site but it was shaded by trees so although was 100 square feet only half could be used really. Someone else has taken it on so maybe they will have more idea than me!! Our new plot is 60 square feet and more or less in full sun. Hubby has been digging it but the weeds keep returning so we are going to cover it with maybe weed membrane or horse poop.

We also have a polytunnel in my mum's back garden and also the fruit trees. Will try and upload some photos if I can...! imageimage

Scroggin bit cold all over your plot great pic nice plot, some areas of mine like that no dig there, is that all your plot in picture?

GWRS Wyevale is about 35 mins away from me quite a bit nice there,  lots happening on here

Went to shop got my new membership card, not got the seeds I asked for as someone else on committee took over ordering so will try again as they will order seeds in a few weeks - if they think they will sell enough of them they will get them

Done more digging on plot finished a bit of an area then started on a non frozen bit of ground so nice to dig and roots good and coming out well, got free eggs by plot neighbour as Mum had to jump start his car - he left radio on whooops

Wilkinsons is selling bird houses for £2.50 so going to get a few for plot online shop will get a few other bits too

I was planning on cutting down the Autumn fruiting raspberry canes today but it was much too cold.  Has anyone else done theirs yet?
