I think chicken pellets are a good general ferterliser , various old timers swear buy them

Been to Asda today and our local store has fruit trees for sale

Hoping to be fit enough to get to plot next week image

Hope you feel fit to get to the plot next week, GWRS.

I was more fit than most but after having meningitis, two yrs ago, some days I just seem to have no energy, the mind is willing but body not so able, upwards and onwards ?

Scroggin, do you sow direct in the ground.

How big are your chilli seedlings, mine are still very small.

I'm running g out of room in the GH. Can sweetpea  and cornflowers be hardened off and planted out now What about broad beans sown in March and peas, can they go out before last frost.

I need to make room to sow cues, Pumpkin, cougette's and squash.  Toms have germinated but not ready to pot up.

That should free up some space.

The GH door has had to be left open overnight as I can't get to the plot before work and it has been heating up in there during the day.

The nights have been cold though, I may need to harden stuff off at home.

Went to allotment yesterday done some digging and lots of harvesting of psb, grass is growing so will a cut soon, found out a plot neighbour is giving up the plot next to mine as 2 plots two much with other things - so I may get new neighbours not too far off

Spotted my blue tit going into house with bedding looks as though I may have birds, so nice can see under nest in gap bit of the bedding

Went to plot today after a bit of wood painting in garden and sawing, started sorting out my fence back of plot,  Broad beans have flowers on

Zoomer44 same here like your meningitis post before but when I had low white blood count a good year ago strengh not quite as much all the time

    It's worth considering.

Went to the plot yesterday to check on seedlings, those covered don't seem to dry out too quickly.

Chilli's arrived in post x6. Various sizes, a bit disappointed with condition but potted up and hopefully they will recover on sunny window sill.

    Happy growing everyone.
