Sprouts , keep meaning to mention this , last year grew sprouts in a block of 4 X 4 and the middle ones didn't grow as well , so will revert to growing them in lines of 2 again

Bit boring I know but thought might be useful info image

Will water the compost bin next time I'm at the plot.

Gg-plots get smaller the further down the site you go. Charges are different depending how big the plot is. My plot is two half plots so some would say I had two plot.

The bee keeper had hives on two plots.
  • Zoomer44 think two plots is fine and I just think if you have a lot of plots it is good if you can look after them all,  one site rep on the site I am on has about 5 plots or more not sure they are all kept up

Ginagibbs that is good that he tidied up his plot , rest for you

My windowsill propagator has just arrived. Those seven little boxes are cute! Now I really have to figure out when and how much to sow.

Went to the allotment today and done some weeding in the trial bed and around the strawberries

Have a slight issue that new neighbour me never met has two of my long planks on there plot can tell they are the ones I got by colour and cardboard splatter and markings, not sure what to do now, going to email council lady don't want to have nightmare neighbours wars going on

That is good Aster2 think they are the same as the small 1/4 trays I use

Also noticed Lidl are having fruit trees this week

Fingers crossed, Gardengirl. You could also mark things you don't want to go walkabout with your plot number or initials.

Happy sowing Aster2. Going to plug in my propagator this weekend and start with Aubergine's, chillies and peppers. Broad beans and pea's on kitchen roll.
