Hi Guys, went to have another look at my new plot yesterday and I'm sure it's just ordinary grass on it, not couch grass. It's just grown in odd clumps. the soil underneath is amazing - clay loam, slightly acidic.

Both of us went to plot yesterday , lots of weeding and fence mending

First time had a problem with horse manure , lots of grass growing in it

Have had good weather so far , was going to plot today but ended up queuing for football tickets for Lincoln City FC

Hoping yo get there on Friday

    Happy gardening everybody image

Done some seed sowing today of flowers nice to get started

Went to B&Q later in day looked in garden area and spotted a trained apple tree on offer for £20 was £43  - so got that and some lavender plants all for the garden project,  the b&q store has all been changed around been going on for a while but now the garden has a massive marquee with metal shutters for them to use

GWRS some of my horse manure has got grass seed just bits so easy to pull out,  dig it in

I started sowing a couple of weeks ago and potted up some bulbs to give them an early start. Pea's and broad beans have germinated

Chilli's are getting alittle leggy and I've lost some to damping off.
