Sown more seeds today, things I've found in the past that take a little time to get going, Busy-Lizzies, Lobelia, Antirrhinums, Dahlias. Also some perennials, Penstemon, Dianthus.
Tootles what colour lupins?
Brought a gardening reading book and an allotment tips book and also sown cress seeds
Also my Gardener's World mag arrived today beautiful front cover and free cosmos seeds and Garden News mag with free sunflowers seeds
Busy- Lizzie good lot of seed sowing done there - may well do my antirrhinums soon then
Tootles , I tend to plant in 3/5 varieties together , it works for me
Mixed colour lupins.
Thanks for the tips. Can't wait to get back digging at the weekend!
Do you think I should out some curves in it, or will that conflict with the curve of the wall?
I'm a curver. Only have a straight line bed down one side because it is between the fence and a cemented in path.
Tootles , let us known how you get on , best of luck with it
Verdun, I am interested as to why you think curves would look contrived?
