Re the Honeysuckle - I cut one down to the ground once (having a new wall behind it) and it re-generated.

Just watered pots - rain coming on Friday to fill the water-butts and save the grass!

My garden and I live in South Wales.

Hello we have a real fire grate , burn a mixture of wood & coal , there are still a few people around hear with working chimneys and a couple of Coal Merchants

Don't use it all the time though but it is nice on a winters day image

Always seem to get enough free wood to burn , got a few tree branches that I need to chain saw

Did think about a Stove but restricted in what you can burn on it

Silly little bit of rain, yesterday, followed by humid, then sunny day, silly bit of rain today, been out picked windfalls for crumble this evening. My cannas havent flowered this year, oy Verdun, dont be dissin my bananas! When my daughter gets over I will see if she can take pics with her phone, (and knows how to put them on here!) Their leaves arent ripped, aparently, they are designed to do that in their native countries,so they dont blow out of the ground in high winds.Picked a lemon made lemon drizzle cake. Are your cannas in the ground?  I had good flowers last year.

I fell out of bed yesterday.

To clarify...I fell out of a raised bed onto stones and with the result my right arm is out of commission. My elbow is a big purple swollen lump and I've pulled a muscle up into my armpit. My shoulder isn't all that happy either and my right bottom is a bit off too. image

Usually when the weather is this bad I do indoors stuff. Can't do that either now. image

    I think I'll just sit.
