  • I'm gutted, Verdun :/

We have a couple of nurseries locally which have really good prices way below gc levels, but I'm still getting used to finding my way around and the fact that hardly anything is labelled - tricky for a newby!
  • Yes, did a bit of weeding and deadheaded my hydrangeas.

Lovely sunny day. Spent several hours weeding and edging the upper middle bed, not quite finished yet. Also potted up some plants for my Open Day plant sale.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Been a lovely day so been out weeding all day, slightly embarrassed by how much is in the wheelbarrow, but it has been very wet lately. image Worked hard enough to warrant taking my jacket off. image

A day of dreaming about gardening. Firstly when wedged into a jam packed tube, secondly when dealing with an unreasonable client, and thirdly when dealing with a case of misconduct....all made bearable with 30 seconds of closing my eyes and imagining being wrist deep in potting compost!

Gardening really is therapy sometimes, even if it is only the thought of it.
