  • Already done a couple of winter hanging baskets, for my front garden, the petunias had had it, I bought 2 packs of 6 plants, £2.79 each in Aldi, good size plants.  Have only watered today, nothing else, came across 2 accidents coming back from my daughter which is 40 miles away, it took me 2 ours to get home, it was 8 and dark, so I didnt water last night.

Cut back my pond iris, I will need to divide it this year As its not been done for the last 7 years. Taken some cuttings, hebe, rose and oleander.

I have never taken cutting from a oleander before, so we will see how it goes.

I bought yet more Cyclamen. They have not been planted yet.

A bit of tidying. I did spend most ot the day yesterday tying my C montana across the gaps to hide next doors garden and tidying up the Rrector  before he finally takes off from the trellis into the tree stumps.

I am going to have to move my Persicaria red dragon it's rather too vigourous to live where I first planted it as a tiny little plant swap from Freecyle.

I think all that exercise finished me off for today.

I cleared a bed of overgrown shasta daises which should have been split up about three years ago. I trimmed off the very old wood and I have rescued enough pieces which should replant ok. I will have to do the same with four large clumps of day lillies which my husband has for the present just dumped on the patio.
