Already done a couple of winter hanging baskets, for my front garden, the petunias had had it, I bought 2 packs of 6 plants, £2.79 each in Aldi, good size plants. Have only watered today, nothing else, came across 2 accidents coming back from my daughter which is 40 miles away, it took me 2 ours to get home, it was 8 and dark, so I didnt water last night.
I bought yet more Cyclamen. They have not been planted yet.
A bit of tidying. I did spend most ot the day yesterday tying my C montana across the gaps to hide next doors garden and tidying up the Rrector before he finally takes off from the trellis into the tree stumps.
I am going to have to move my Persicaria red dragon it's rather too vigourous to live where I first planted it as a tiny little plant swap from Freecyle.
I think all that exercise finished me off for today.
Started Cleared some pond weed And covered the pond with some netting In the poring rain. Some dead heading On the daliha. Also bought some small ivy for my baskets.
I cleared a bed of overgrown shasta daises which should have been split up about three years ago. I trimmed off the very old wood and I have rescued enough pieces which should replant ok. I will have to do the same with four large clumps of day lillies which my husband has for the present just dumped on the patio.

I have never taken cutting from a oleander before, so we will see how it goes.

Some deadheading as well , went into garden after rain stopped at about 3-30ish
