BL , garden looking good , when's your open day ?image

  • Planted up my white themed perennials in the new border... veronicastrum, actaea, pulmonaria, epimedium, digitalis...  hurry up and grow! I'm so impatient image

Also planted thyme and lily of the valley on the driveway bank, planted up my new planter with climbing rose & honeysuckle, planted three new laurels to plug the hole in my hedge (a bit). Planted two new buxus in stone planters by the front of the house, ready to trim in due course.

In summary, today I have mostly done planting.

Just potted up 14 pelargonium cuttings into my nicely washed pots!

I don't always wash pots, but as I'm planning to sell the plants, I thought it better to have clean pots.

Yesterday's gardening - new border, all dug out from what was pretty much just a scruffy bit of garden wasteland, and planted up.

It looks so nothingy for all the  hard work involved.....image

  • HI Verdun - the small ones at the front are pulmonaria, epimedium x 2 and bergenia ; actaea and veronicastrum at the back, digitalis in the middle.

I don't want it to be cold any more, boo hoo!
