Watching the sun rise here. Bright red sun today and blue sky with the odd little cloud.  Rabbits playing in the field and the birds are tweeting away. Just lovely.

One of my lovely neighbours came over with a big bag of chicken compost for me. Thanks Brian image

Have just spent 6 hours on Tuesday and another 6 hours yesterday on the garden, feel shattered today but it's all worth it - to be surrounded by happy birds feeding from my variety of feeders in the lovely sunshine, not bothered by my presence image

Another sunny day here. Yesterday I spent an hour pottering in Mum's garden. Pruned and tied in her Zephirine Drouhin and had a good look (from ground level) at the climbing mascarade over the pergola. Looks like it could do with some serious work. Will have to get the One & Only involved when he's home for Easter.

Very tempted to garden today but have more pressing (?????) things to do.image Just having coffee (and biscuitsimage) before chasing up Bristol Water to find out what they're doing about the block pavers they've mucked up outside my Mum's house.image I suspect "nothing"imageimage.

  • Hmm, putting nan in the shed... would that work with a flu-riddled partner too?image

    Just a thought...

Anyhow, just looking at outside with a long list of things to do, but it has been snowing for the last 48 hours. There is nothing I can do but watch the seedlings grow... what an exciting life I lead...

Wish I could put Hubby in the shed sometimes image but at the moment its so full I couldn't fit anything in it until Secondborn takes all her gardening equipment to her new houseimage

Have just split some primulas and planted new primulas and carex.  I've also dug up a Lavetera that was getting too big for it's boots so have a new spot for plantingimage.  Have got all the bird feeders in soak so the birds will be champing at the bit until they go back outside.  It's a beautiful sunny day here, but very cold.
