planted last 24 beet plants watered toms pinched out . put 2 bird scarers 2 orange plastic balls out of water tanks look good swaying on 2 thin bamboos . took 3 toms 1 cue and courghette???home for decking ( hope dog leaves them alone ) will tell her once grough voice will work
Did lawn yesterday - my husband has burnt several patches chopping up logs on it, I think some petrol dripped onto it.
Got to sort out the mess by the summerhouse later - have been putting it off for months because it involves moving the log pile.
There is also half mooning of borders to do - way too much to do given I'm at work and have a house full of people this weekend. Might just give up and open the wine.
Wandered around the garden after work as I needed some outside time. Am pleased to report that while contemplating the aphids on a rambley rose I discovered bumble bees in the hedgehog box.

Started weeding and planting upper middle bed, then went to son for the rest of the day. Had a good lunch and the babies were sweet.
