Lovely and sunny here today, have been out potting up Heliotrope.  Also been sowing seeds, Lobelia Pendula Regatta, Osteospermum Ecklonis and Felicia Heterophylla 'the rose'.  Might pop to garden centre this afternoon.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

I've just bought some plant from the garden centre, it's sunny here too. I've also bought 4 begonia bulbs, the lady said I could plant straight in the ground, is that correct? Thanks

    So hot and sunny here

Started my day weeding the front garden, it has a serious bindweed problem that has left me struggling to bond with this area in past years, although I'm determined to revamp it this year, but won't be planting until the weed is thoroughly deaded image

got out in the back about midday and tackled many more of my potted plants.

Last job was rescuing some sodden iris, even though I planted them on piles of gravel, they have suffered a wet winter. Conversely, those in pots are doing terrific. Live and learn image

  • Most of the plants arrived this afternoon and are safe and cosy in there temporary homeimage
