been down this morn 7 am did bit weeding then hoed up 15 rows spuds had enough re potted 2 marmande (toms) repotted 2 cues that had came through I had assumed they had died someone will have them down gardens
I have re sown all my runner beans with a different type. The first lot swelled up and then went mouldy instead of germinating. The sweet corn and climbing french beans sown at the same time are up.
Trying to get some gardening done but some of the ground is like a paddy field. I left a bucket outside on Tuesday night, and it now has over 2" of water in it.
Fairly, up to date with everything, just waiting till end of May so I can plant out all my little plants growing in the greenhouse. Cut the lawn today, well three quarters of it, the mower stopped working
Repotted my Morrisons climbers, and planted out gaura, aquilega, bergenia, astrantia and delphinium. Oh, and not forgetting the removal of about a hundredweight of forget-me-nots which were taking over far too much of the garden...
Gave all the plants in pots a good soak then sat with my coffee contemplating pot re- arrangement for the summer when pots of tender plants will take the place of the spring ones. These get moved to he back of the house for the summer..
