Hmm, I wanted to dig over my second raised veggie bed... Got discouraged when the bed fell apart during the digging ( a little nasty left over from an ex...). Now I am sulking at home and debating what to do next (I have decided that chopping the head of ex is not going to help me rebuild the bed in time for the season).
Out early this morning to finish building new compost bin that turns, then filled it with the contents of my one and a half beehive bins that are going in the skip when it comes.
Once the skip is full, I can landscape the space for a green house, but not until it warms up. I got frostbite in my fingers moving compost so abandoned other jobs which included moving cold frames to new location
AWB, gotta love a bonfire. I'm trying to work out where I can start one here. Needs to be away from the house and away from trees, tricky, still working on it.
I finally managed to get out in the garden for pretty much the first time this year, I planted some new dog wood that I purchased, a new climbing hydrangea and a curly hazel (I think its a hazel).
I plan to dig up and divide my snow drops over the coming weekend, the clumps become thick relatively quick which is amazing to see!
I have mulched the herbaceous perennials that are planted around my pond.
I didn't protect my Gunera this winter and it seems to have pulled through just fine, luckily its in a pretty sheltered position in my garden, I would have been devastated if it died! it was so tiny when I first planted it!

Sounds like sound advice, 1runnybeak1. Could build it big enough to bury ex in. Would be good compost.
