The Honeysuckles that I cut down in the winter as they where out of control , they are now growing well image

I shovelled my top soil and brought up the level in my raised bed with a mix of that and mpc and chicken poo. It has lupins and roses in it at the moment (not my choice) but I'm eyeing my osteopermum and phlox to fill the gaps.

Put the blade on my brushcutter and headed into the back woods. Only did a little bit as it was getting late and my spaghetti arms were knackered with the shovelling.

Did a wee bit of potting on and cleared up just in time for the thunder storm. A good day out.

Finally got my brassicas (brussels, savoy & caulis) planted:

They've gone into my 'fruit' cage as woodpigeons would otherwise scoff them within hours.  Couldn't have done it without the help of my little mate though:

Busy day in the end - planted out 80 or so plants today and laid a stepping stone path through the main border.

All the echinacea, helenium, kniphofia, salvia caradonna, grasses and verbena bonariensis now just need to grow!

Have been out for an hour with the hose soaking the area of the garden which is dry in the summer. No rain expected here for about 10 days so the soaking should keep it going.

Digging up the spanish bluebells and replacing with begonisa and trying to tidy up garden before my friend off this forum comes over and marvels at what a terrible gardner I am :-)

Wow, Andy, that's a lot of plants! Are they all new this year?

I went back and looked at the post of the border you were filling. Fun I think, but a bit daunting? I hope they all do well for youimage

I half did my fence baskets today. Only have 4 for bedding now as I have more climbers and some shrubs are getting bigger. Only planted half of each as I'm unsure what to keep to put in my hanging baskets to look the least rubbish. Have a lot of seedlings/plantlets left.

I'd like to sit outside but it is a bit gloomy and my neighbour is building something and I don't want to seem like I'm nosying...image

Yep Victoria, all new - pretty much everything in the garden is after we moved in 2 years ago.  Probably could do an update picture to that post you mentioned.  I need to find one when we moved in too image
