Me too LF. I love to see how people have overcome difficult situations and what plant combinations they have.

I think my garden's quite different from three years ago!

Took a  pic of a couple of grasses yesterday. Definitely a bit later this year, which I think is down to less rain than usual.

Hey Flyfifer, do you like Honeysuckle by any chance? image  image

Lovely pix.  Particularly like the 'view' into your gravelled area. image

Is that Niobe? One of my faves.

Fairygirl   Not sure what clematis it is, I got two possible ids on the forum but cant' make my mind up between Ville De Lyon and Rouge Cardinal. I now have another contender.

The three arches shown are only about half of our honeysuckle so you could say we like it. imageimage

The thing i like most about it is the evening scent it has all summer long.  It is used here to separate the different garden rooms.

Joyce21  Thank you for your comment, that robin is the same one that I posted photos of on An Afternoon Companion thread.

It will perch on anything handy to wherever I am working, as I have now finished all my weeding and clearing I have had to buy some mealworms for it to feed its chicks. image

Actually, now I look at it, I don't think it's Niobe - the petals look a bit too rounded. image

Rouge Cardinal is very free flowering. I had it in a previous garden. Lovely plant. Delightful anyway, whatever it is!   image

I'm assuming from your forum name you're in Fife? image
