Beautiful tulip colours Runnybeak - those dark red ones look velvety - mine are mostly the gawdy everyday colours but still lovely flowers and some late mini bright red ones from B&Q last Autumn.
Yes, I love tulips too - that was one of the first flowers that I really wanted to grow as we didn't have any in our family garden when I was growing up - I was quite envious when my sister went on a school trip to Holland but since then I have visited many times & bought bulbs back to plant in our garden. Now for a couple of pictures from our garden taken on Monday & Tuesday.
No not me Beau's mum - a job for the experts as the tree was very tall & overhanging the road. Your flowers make me smile too - love the tulips. I wonder how many varieties & colours exist?
