Gorgeous Papi Jo. You look as if you've had some good weather fro plants to flourish. Very lush and green.

No smilies working - so 'smiley face'  for all of those!

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I love the garden thread. I try to have a shufty round in the background to see layouts and planting schemes and I'm always amazed at the variety of ideas. The trouble is I think "I'm going to do that...and that...and that......! image

That's gorgeous Andy. You have done a fab job in your garden this year. From bare earth to that in just a couple of months...well done. Have a pat on the back! and then come round here...image

Thanks pp, although not sure I can take much credit, I must have just bought quality plants :-).  Well, maybe the echinacea hot summer notwithstanding (had trouble with one ?).

Zephirine drouhine climbing rose that I planted in May has just started flowering too, soon Claire Austin then the kniphofia then it's maintain for a couple of months then watch the bare patches come again for the winter ?.

I didn't have a huge budget when I started my first garden and someone said go to the GC every month and see what is "doing something" that month. I did and then when funds picked up I could afford to fill in spaces. Until that time there was always at least one thing of interest at all times be it flowers or foliage.

Did you plant bulbs? I can't remember. They certainly shorten the Winter!
