Chicky that's gorgous. There's something romantic about wisteria I think, I love it. I grew the smaller flowered American one in my last garden but it wasn't the same!
These were a surprise this year - think they are violas(?) had one in a pot last year and now I have a14" diameter ball or them. Should I dead head it to keep it in bloom or will it just die off?

Thanks Fairygirl. Yes mostly nettles but some campions and cow parsley.
There are also crab apples wild pear and cherry. Tescos had bare root fruit trees at £5 each so 6 of them were added.
Really impressive
We can enjoy all these Wisterias vicariously Joyce - and no effort involved whatsoever...
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

ONLY 15 yrs old GD2, I'd have been gutted! In fact Hubby would probably say that I'd have foregone the window for it
The rose around the lounge door is really in full flow now! I love it. Plus, I have robins nesting in the storm porch there!
And ive just seen my first rose elsewhere in the garden...
...and the first peonly (although it's a bit rain battered!)
The lupins are coming out too....

Only started gardening last July, so still early days for as good a show as most of yours, plus things all seem that bit later up north!!
That is all fantastic Jason, and that is a Clematis to die for!
What is that little white plant in the bottom photo please.
Thanks Lyn, and its Saxifrage x Arendsii White Carpet

Wonderful heucheras and what a great clematis Jason.
Three very blustery days here with even a few minutes of snow. Today is cold and clear, a day so beautiful it makes everything look wonderful.
