After cutting the grass for many years, I decided it was time for a change, so here are a few pics.
We started with a sea of green.
Which soon turned into a sea of gravel.
After the gravel was laid I had some raised beds made.
I painted and lined the raised beds and then laid some stepping stones to create a small network of paths.
I have put in 4 large pots with obelisks which will be planted with climbers.
And this is how it stands at the moment, it will be June before I get around to planting up the beds ( full of Black-eyed Susan and Nasturtiums ) and maybe some Clematis Cezzane in the pots.
Also, the wildlife has already moved in, some Hedgehogs and 2 splendidly fat mice have taken up residence
Hope I have posted this in the right place and any advice on other climbing plants for the beds and pots would be appreciated.

I think nasturtiums would look fab in those raised beds.

Bog bed rejigged for 2016, still tinkering with the middle
