Thanks Bob - I can see that now I am home and have a big screen - couldn't make it out on my titchy phone
Bob's right. The Geum, I think, is Prinses Juliana. It's next to another orange Geum, Totally Tangerine which is paler with single flowers.
I only have one geum - with a striking a red flower but I love it & the fact that it is a perennial & makes a lovely edging plant - far better value than lobelia & other annual bedding plants.
Your garden looks and will look beautiful for your open day BL
Miss Sponge and Lizzie, very nice.
Cold couple of nights-just at freezing but the back garden is at it's spring peak with iris about to contribute.
Lovely as always, David.
Stunning David, come on you iris
Rock n rolling BL. Fabulous corner by the steps, you lucky thing
VS, I'm not and never have been a daffa but I adore tulips and I also know what is waiting to explode in your garden can't wait to see this year
gorgeous pots everyone, I'm bogged down with work here, luckily it's mostly done
Enjoy your gardens everyone
What a beautiful garden, David...so many wonderful colours.
The tree peony in the shelter of the magnolia is always early.
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
What a lovely rich colour that peony is David - does it need supporting - perhaps you have planted it in a sheltered place?
