Oh what a wonderful evening's entertainment I have just had.  Such stagecraft, singing, dancing, drama. clever sets. imaginative touches galore that only theatre in the round can provide like the station caterer offering buns to the audience in the front row.  The whole production was excellently done and I shall be feeling so disgruntled with "Strictly Come Dancing" on the telly on Saturday night now!  Well done Kelvin players.  I have seen lots of wonderful shows from the company but this beats the lot.  If I do have any dreams tonight they will be very sweet indeed.

It sounds as though you could have been tempted to get up and join in Marion.

  • Good Morning Marion.

    I love this thread.

some time ago, you told me of a great company that you get plants from, I have forgotten the name, please can you remind me.

What is the secret to keeping Agstache alive, I had 2 plants for a couple of years, this year no sign of them.

    I'm in Manchester, UK.

    thank you

Oh Joyce I was singing along with the ukilele player as I knew all the songs he was playing and singing.  The theatre was dressed as a cinema with very smartly dressed ushers and entertainment before the show and at the end,  He finished with "I'll see you in my dreams" ! Goldfinch 60 I am still very thrilled with the Secret Gardening Club.  This week they have a marvelous sale on!   Any three plants or bulb offer for £2.97each, no P&P either and being a plant pass holder I get another ten percent off.  I have sent for six things.  I got my agastaches from them and they have been glorious.  As this is the first time I have grown them I do not know how hardy they are in Bristol.  I will do some research as I would hate to lose them.  They are lovely.

We have had quite a bit of rain through the night and it is still raining and very dark.  Forecast is for it to dry up about 11 and be dry for rest of day so I shall be out in the garden singing then.

Goldfinch 60 perhaps you had a tender variety.  Good information here http://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/hyssop/growing-agastache.htm

We had enough sunny weather for me to get the green wheeliebin full up again.  More rain forecast for tomorrow afternoon so must start early tomorrow morning if the rain stays away. It is quite a bit warmer too so no frozen toes today.

Damp in the garden but not a lot of rain in my collectors but forecast to get some later .  Sun has just come out it is feeling warm enough to get started.

Grey sky and looks as though it will rain.  I still have camassias to plant and  lots of weeding to do. I like to have most tasks done before the clock changes.
