  • Had a friend helping me in the garden this afternoon then we went to the AGS meeting where we had a talk about the history of some of the nt gardens near us and I bought three lovely cyclamen plants and an alpine dianthus.  it has started to rain now so may get some of my bulbs planted tomorrow.

  • What a beautiful clematis, Marion!  I love the recurved petals and outstanding stamens... wonder if I've got room for one...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Too wet still in the garden today to work so i cleaned the kitchen window to get good pics of my fauna and sure enough Tosser the wood pigeon was down to feed before the squirrels ate everything.  He is learning the early bird gets the crumbs.imageimageimage

  • And minutes later Maggie (who quarrels with everyone) the magpie arrives.image

Your friend's clematis is beautiful, Marion. Is that the same friend with the Morning Glory?

For a change, it's sunny here though a bit cooler.

I, too, enjoy watching the birds from the kitchen.
