A card from next door for Mothers' Day chosen because they thought it looked like my garden in the summer!

Oh wow,  my Mothers' Day presents are scenting the kitchen beautifully.  Very stuffed after a lovely lunch.

What beautiful flowers, Marion and friends!  My snowdrops and dwarf daffs have just re-emerged from under the snow.  image

Sounds as though you had a good Mother's Day, Marion. You deserve it. I love the colour of that rose.

My Mother's Day will be the French one on 29th May.

A very cold morning, only 1 degree so far so don't expect to get out in the garden till about noon.  But it is dry.I have my new cut flowers to delight me in the kitchen so might do some baking.  Welsh cakes are a very warm job!  And there is a parcel in the post from my youngest daughter.  End of the week is forecast to be mild again.

Good morning Marion. Only 1° here too. I wonder if it will warm up this afternoon so I can get on with the pruning.

Oh my goodness the parcel from my youngest daughter contained the most beautiful new clothes.  A lovely warm nightie, striped winter long sleeved sweater and poloneck T shirt to wear with it.  I added them to my cards and presents from the weekend.
