Leg of lamb with mint sauce was delicious. Son No2 cleared my gutters for me and promised to do some heavy pruning for me in his Easter holidays as well as an outing to see a film. It was a fine day and a forecast of the same for tomorrow.
Yes Snow camellia flowers can get ruined by the frost so facing east is not good. Perhaps she could move the pot to face west and save her flower buds. Sounds like it is a bit light starved too if it is a bit leggy. Replacing the top inch or two of soil in the pot with fresh ericaceous compost would help and a feed of ericaceous food after flowering too. Minus 1 again this morning so white grass but the sun is shining brilliantly already so high hopes of getting some gardening done as rain forecast for tomorrow.
I went looking for a tray to chit some more of my early potatoes and discovered three pots of this lovely dwarf iris. They are not reticulata but a dwarf bearded iris. I must have bought them at the AGS Conference last year but cannot find the label now.
Duck pond yet again out on the kitchen patio and still raining steadily and quite windy. but very mild at nine degrees already. My nine bags of freash compost and manure arrived yesterday so I am raring to go.

Good evening Marion, Marion they are lovely pictures you've brightened our day up again. Glad you had a nice time yesterday with your family
It's been dry here and 6c again, looks like the rain is back tomorrow unfortunately.
I think the Iris is called Iris "Amphora", a dwarf bearded iris.
