I hope you have a lovely party GWRS.  I have just been on safari with my camera up the garden.  It was really too sunny for taking good pictures but I was soaking up the sun and my it does look like spring has wel and truly sprung in Bristol.

Feels colder today and the garden is quite wet so it has been raining through the night.  Forecast is better by 11 am so may be able to get some work done outside.  I can always resort to sowing broad beans and sweet peas on the kitchen table when i have put the plastic tablecloth on.  There is always lots to do in the garden in March.  And day off tomorrow for Mother's Day.  Early Easter Too!  I see the forsythia buds are opening in the front gardens in our lane.

Wow such lovely sunshine we have had and I have worked myself to a standstill up the garden.  I swear one of the birds in the spinney was whistling "Marion"!  Some of them are good mimics.  I did quite a few hours work so deserve a day off tomorrow.  Now in for a cup of tea and to cut, wash and style my hair for tomorrow to look my best.

  • I so admire your energy and enthusiasm, you are an inspiration to me.

it was thick with snow yesterday and now it's all gone, it's been a nice sunny day.

have you got family coming for Mother's Day?, I'm going to my mother in laws and my mums house too image Nice weather for tomorrow but cold 6c here.

I am going to lunch at son no.3's house with his partner's mother coming too.  I have cut my hair and washed it so no more getting tangled in the brambles for a bit.  It does grow very quickly!  We had a beautiful sunny dry day after all and tomorrow's forecast is good too.  Have a lovely Mother's day flumpy with your two mums.  So happy to be of use to you, lovegardens.  I do get great joy from my garden, especially from the fruit and veg. though my soul revels in the flowers and foliage too.

Brrr it is cold for Mother'sDay, only 2 degrees here and forecast a max of 5.  Too cold for me to garden except in the conservatory where lots of bulbs are beginning to flower.  I hope all plants and bunches of flowers gat safely to their recipients.
