I have come in for a hot drink but have done some more work.  Pleased with the paths beginning to look cared for again.  I know my species tulips always flower before the varieties but what are they doing flowering in February?

Oh gosh do they not have so much space?  Huge gardens, big swimming pools and large rooms.  Those bougainvilleas had me drooling..

At Xmas I gave my friend a red camellia which was advertised to flower on Xmas Day.  It was covered in buds but they have just opened so at last he can see the Xmassy colour.

2 degrees this morning but no frost and the sun is out.  Looks like  a good day for gardening but I have family for lunch.  Forecast looks good for next week however with milder conditions.  I should be able to get some sowing and planting done then.  My early potatoes are chitting in the kitchen.
