Another brilliant day forecast for Bristol, even warmer than yesterday.  I am OK to go out gardening in it till the temperature reaches 24 after which i have to be careful.  There are lots of shady spots needing attention, including the woodland walk so I will be gravitating there  to do some bramble cutting.  I know there are lots of new primroses establishing themselves from seed so expect some surprises under the bramble jungle.

Morning Marion!  I can just imagine the scent from your kitchen door this morning - I love the gentle fragrance of Clematis montana.  image  It'll be a few weeks before it's in flower round here, but we have at least got the first bluebells out now.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

My Clematis montana reubens was a bit late flowering this year.  My friend who lives in central Bristol which is one degree warmer than where I live 500 metres from the Gloucestershire border hasimage his Tiarella "Ink Spot" in full bloom.

Tiarella "Inkblot" not "Ink Spot"!!!   How does one edit in the new format?
