Happy May Day to you too, Marion!

Hoping for better weather in May.  Drizzle & rain today...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Managed to get past noon without rain though it has gone cloudy now.  Big basket of weeds done and eight more perennials planted.  Will prick out some more tomatoes and French marigolds this afternoon after lunch.  The scents in the garden were very strong today round every corner.

We seem to have had some rain this morning by the look of my damp garden  - no sun but my it is very mild 12 degrees at 7 o/clock.  Heavy rain forecast for noon here.  I will take some plants out from the conservatory to the cold frame as I can shut the lid and fleece it tonight when frost is forecast.

Morning Marion, just writing this message for the second time as I forgot to sign in gggrrr.

It's 12c here to but wet and grey, it's meant to brighten up at 3pm.

We are get a osteospermum (yellow with purple centre) for my dad, he's not been well for a few weeks, he liked my plant so much that he's asked me to pick one up, he's waiting for scan results and has got a water infection so he's feeling fed up.

Hope your day brightens up Marion : )

It's a lovely area - Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway.  I'm on the Ayrshire coast.

My daughter lives in a rural area near Chorley, Lancs.
