Back from the "Garden" party with my booty.  I was looking for notelets as I had run low and won 18 in the raffle in their own smart chest.  Delicious home baking which i bought some of and three lovely handcrafted cards too, "Sense and Sensibilty " DVD and a delicious lunch - all for £6!!!,  It is still very cold and windy, not at all garden party weather but the warmth of the welcome made up for it.

I hope your gazanias have come through the winter OK flumpy as mine have.  Looking forward to them in the summer.  Still cold this morning and rain forecast for Bristol from lunchtime onwards so must spend the morning working in the garden.

Time for lunch after a busy morning.  garden very lush.  Take a walk with me half way up.  it keeps suddenly going cold so I am not trusting the weather by going further in case i get wet.

Gorgeous pictures Marion, looks like your having better weather than us, wet cold and grey here.

Me and my hubby are having a rotten time, got up this am, the boiler (2yrs old) as stopped working, so you can imagine how cold our house is bbbbrrrr, then I heard a tapping on our loft hatch then felt a patch of carpet was wet, yep we have a leek in the roof, Ho and my hubbies car broke down (alternater belt snapped so that's in the garage and British Gas are coming tomorrow, someone up there doesn't like us! : (

Bad things always come in threes my mother used to say.  If we broke anything she would make us snap two spent matches!  What rotten luck you are having you two.  We did have some rain which brought colder temperature with it so i have given up gardening for today.

Feels a lot warmer this morning but lots of rain forecast from about noon onwards so definitely morning gardening today.  Happy May Day everybody and good gardening.

Rain here Marion but the garden needs it so not complaining.  Hope it stays off for you to work in your lovely garden.
