Hi, flumpy. I got most of my planned jobs done despite my granddaughter arriving unexpectedly at lunchtime. But it was lovely catching up with her news. She is off to Peru in the summer, plans on working as a personal trainer after uni and aiming to be an MP. She enjoys talking to people on their doorsteps and we discussed the referendum in June and the new Labour leader. She brought me a nice tin mug with Queen of the Garden on it and a lila cloth bag lined so it can carry plants in. Here is my mug beside the plants i am gathering together for the plant sale at the Botanic garden. Those six-plant carriers you get from the garden centre do come in handy.
Lovely bright close-ups flumpy. A super sunny dry day again in Bristol and forecast of temperature 11 or above. I have been out collecting plants for the plant sale next weekend at the Botanic garden when the forecast is not so good unfortunately. They will have a gazebo over them no doubt. Plan on sowing more cut and come again salad things today, hardy annuals and red onions sets.
well I ended up at my parents for about three hours talking about when we where children etc, the countryside is lovely at the back of there house, my dad said there are dear at the bottom of the garden early morning .
nice weather forecast tomorrow so going to clean my the car inside and out.
GWRS one of my Violas has survived through winter and still flowering
Another fine dry day and 6 degrees already though I doubt we will reach the 12 we had yesterday, perhaps 10. I managed to plant up three dahlias yesterday and hope to do the last three today, some more onions, golden ones this time, and sow more annuals and salads. I should get the last of the plants ready for the sale and everything watered so they will have drained before they are transported to the Botanic Garden.
