Well Marion I'm off work now for a week whoopee and it's my birthday on Wenesday, so going to get plenty gardening and walking done, I'm praying the weather stays dry, it's grey at the moment but dry.

Have a happy Easter holiday flumpy and a Happy birthday when it comes.  Nice primula.  I have some of those for sale at the Botanic Garden next weekend.  Lots of beauties out now in the garden.  I have collected 40 pots for sale so far.I will snap them all when the table is full.  Grey day today was just right for nice pics.

Yes, Liriodendron, I am so pleased C. pseudo-graecum grows outside for me as it is in a pot in the cold temperate greenhouse at the Botanic Garden.  It was a gamble I took about six years ago and they are thriving.  Warmer this morning at 5 degrees but still a bit grey.  still good gardening weather.

You too GWRS.  I have put four pkts of sweet pea seeds to soak for a couple of hours and will put five seeds to a 9cm pot this afternoon and get them started in the propagator. have also split my two garlic bulbs into cloves so they will go in one of my raised beds in the potager this afternoon.  I found four pkts of cosmos seeds so, as it is the year of the cosmos i will sow them this afternoon too.  Determined to sow or plant out some flowers every day this week as well as something to eat each day, culminating with my chitted early potatoes on Good Friday.

Hi Marion, I did write earlier and then the website went funny and lost all my message : (.

It's been a lovely day here, we have been to the garden centre and injected some colour in the garden : ) I will take photos later, just charging my iPad, we visited my father in law as it is his and my birthday this week : ) he's nursing a broken thumb after a accident at work yesterday.
