Hope it turns up soon, Marion. It's cold here too - thick frost, but I fear I should have asked Santa for a new weather station for Christmas. The outside sensor says it is 4 degrees, which seems a bit optimistic!
A new catalogue arrived this morning from Marshalls. I bought new strawberry plants from them last autumn, and was very pleased with the quality, so will have a look and see if they're selling anything I can squeeze in.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
I meant to say that I'm very envious of your snowdrops! Mine are still less than an inch above the soil. But there's one flower on a nice deep red Helleborus orientalis...

I like Marshalls too, Liriodendron. Never been disappointed with them. The native snowdrops are flowering now, not just the elwesii varieties. A few of my hellebores have buds too.
Forecast was wrong. It was 8 degrees at one o'clock so out I went in the sunshine and worked on my lost terraces. Wheeliebin does not get emptied till Tuesday because of the holidays but I managed to squeeze a lot more in by sheer brute force. Whacked now but so happy at the work I got done. It is supposed to be mild till next Monday. Here's hoping.
Love the hat Flumpy. We have fog so dense this morning i cannot see the house next door. I had a call at 8 this morning from parcelforce to say my parcel would be delivered today as they picked it up from the PO yesterday. Forecast is for a mild day tomorrow here in Bristol then rain on Sunday.

Mild and sunny up north Marion.
Cleared lots of leaves off a border. Lots of snowdrops ready to flower were under the leaves plus spring-flowering plants which are showing new growth
