Oh I have been beheaded - ah well it was an old picture anyway but it had the Lord Mayor and his Lady either side of me!  I have no idea how to replace my avatar.

I got fed up weeding so have started to get the tender subjects out onto a sheltered part of the drive to make room in the conservatory for the tomatoes.imageimage

Good morning Marion, hope you are well?.

i was looking back on your thread, your pictures are lovely, I like your basket planter where did you get it from?.

hey I noticed your heather sits in the corner of the raised bed just like mine : )

my sweet peas are growing well so far, it's lovely to have colour in our gardens now, everywhere looks much greener and prettier : )

weather here is blue sky at the moment but not T-shirt weather, there is a cool breeze in the air.

well got a lot of tidying up in the garden to do and trimming the edges of the lawn but first the in-laws are visiting at 10am so breakfast first : )

    have a lovely day : )

You too flumpy.  The basket planter was sat on the pavement outside our charity shop for £3.99 .  I removed the cotton lining from it and saw its possibilities as a planter at once like the hampers i get every Xmas full of food which I plant up.  It is another lovely sunny day in Bristol so i expect to get quite a bit of work done in the garden.  Temperature forecast is 14 degrees just right for hard work, not too hot. The tender plants I put out yesterday are fine in their sheltered spot so may give them a few more companions today.  If I have any young and fit visitors they can carry out a few heavy ones for me.  I have some scented pelargoniums that are four feet high and in big pots!

That's good Marion £3.99 bargain and looks lovely.

its been really nice weather today sunshine and that cool wind has dropped so got to work in the garden, I've noticed my mint is popping up everywhere so had to pull some up as I don't want them messing my bedding plants up.

my pink perfection is flowering lovely in our front garden which is three years old now
