I don't know the answer to that one flumpy. Your rhododendron should have bg fat buds on it right now but the feeding may help them to form and your flowering will be later than mine which look likely to open very soon. Those carnations are beautiful and so is your front garden display. I got a lot of weeding and planting up done today. Whacked now.
two years ago my rhododendron had nice big buds but this year looks like there's only a couple of small buds growing, so hopefully next year will do better after a lot of TLC.
hope you've not done to much Marion, I know my arms and back are aching a bit, but I did wash the car too which is shining nicely
Forum has been off this morning for a bit. Another brilliant sunny day in Bristol so expect to get a lot of planting done I thought I had lost a ceratostigma but when i emptied it out of its pot there were some little green shoots and some good roots so repotted it in good compost and watered it. Time will tell.
Did a lot of watering then went round the garden taking pictures every time i said AWWW, look at that - to the neighbour's cats who like to follow me around, to the fox whom I stumbled upon napping,. to the birds if all else failed. Good job I am having visitors next weekend.
It is promising to be another fine day for gardening but rain forecast for this evening which will mean holding off on the watering for me and the waterbutts replenished. Tomorrow is another story however with heavy rain forecast for all day.

Ho I forgot to say Marion, I've bought the feed for my rhododendron, how long will it take to work?

I think I overloaded my space. Here are the remainder. The purple freesia is beautiful.

I would welcome a few over night rainfalls Marion as my soil is getting like dust. Enjoy seeing your garden pics
