Morning Marion, glad you had a nice day, lovely jumper, looks nice and warm too, lovely picture of you, son and grandson, can't believe how you alike you look to clarices picture .
hope you have a nice day today, it's blue sky here but 6c today, a big difference from yesterdaY. Happy Boxing Day
Marion, I have finally discovered how to transfer photos from my computer........I have posted lots on the My Flower thread......thought that you may like a peep Too many to re-post them.
Son and grandchildren gone now. We had a nice vegetarian lunch and afternoon tea. They did all the washing up, started up my ioniser and brought me a lovely woollen blanket for my sofa and a fragranced reed diffuser which will scent the whole house for the rest of the winter so stop me pining for the scents of the garden! My son fixed the wonky hinge on my kitchen cabinet door so all is straight for the new year coming up! It has grown much colder today I noticed as I took out the recycling.
Oh dear just -1 degrees this morning and hard frost everywhere. Forecast is dry though. Sunshine would help to lift the gloom somewhat. The house is very fragrant with lilies and the frangrancer reeds and I do notice a difference in the study where I have the ioniser now. A pile of books picked from some of my bookshelves not visited recently should keep me happy till the temperature reaches over 6 and I can get out in the garden. Have a good day everyone.
i hope the temperature rises a bit for you Marion.
The high winds have gone, thank goodness, and it's dry. Lots of twigs off the trees to be cleared up after the winds so will do a tidy up outside. Inside can wait. . . . . .
Sun came out and boosted the temperature to 6 degrees so out I went. Lots of bulbs up and primroses flowering. Half filled the green wheeliebin with cut up bamboo. It was lovely stretching my back in the sun. Gave me an appetite for leftovers from yesterday.
Only-2 this morning so everywhere is white again. A fellow volunteer friend from the Botanic garden is visiting this afternoon so i hope the sun comes out for her. It is looking a bit brighter now and set to be dry all day. Parts of Bristol had fog this morning but not the South Gloucestershire side where I live. I am expecting my redelivery parcel from Ballymena today, via Parcelforce. It will have taken three weeks to reach me!
