We didn't have the programme last night - don't think it's on tonight either as we have other things on - so I can't comment on it, but people use their gardens in different ways, and all are valid. It may not be to our taste, but anything that gets people out using their gardens is a good thing. Far better than the ones who leave it like a tip full of rubbish and weeds which invade other gardens, and in time, it may lead to them becoming interested in having plants and greenery instead.
I'd agree about revisiting all the makeover plots. Wonder if the owners of the instant ones get some sort of guidance plan for maintenance.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
The narrator is Vicky Hall? It's not necessarily her voice which annoys me, it's more her delivery in a 'dah-di-dah-di' lilt which sounds rather childish. It won't put me off watching tonight's programme though.
course we are RB, this one is because my mom was given a cream tea thingy for her birthday or retirement, i would go every day if i could
saw some of tonights show, not sure about the japenese garden, only because they didnt seem to be as interested in the plants as the design, maybe im wrong, need to watch it again, didnt see the alpine one at the end, seemed a sweet idea, a tough thing to pull off well

The girl's name (narrator) is on the end credits.

I liked tonight's programme best so far, but I missed Wednesday's. Though the Japanese one was very expensive. The owners paid and they were happy.
It would be interesting to see how all these featured gardens develop with a re-visit in a years time.
