    Artjak, your cottage garden arrangement is a compliment to those lovely blooms image beautiful rose.

    The hydrangea has taken a beating from the rain  image  the photo on the 'star...' thread shows how much. Although their colours are softer shades now there is still one or two blue left. Had to stake them  - more rain to come.

    On the plus side the grass  is  greener, the rugosa has more hips...changing seasons  image

    Beau's mum, just seen your door! gorgeous !! exactly what I want! pvc should be banned! ( good job I think that as we're in a conservation area and have to keep wooden sashes, just had living room bay done for an eye waterin sum and that didn't include painting! ) no wonder we can't afford to do all the other things on my list...

    Thank you rose mummy about my door image Please post pic of your new window.  We don't live in a conservation area but in our terrace of eight we all have same original windows back to 1904 and all painted black and white

    Artjak tonight is first time it's rained in weeks here apart from a bit in the night last week and I'm no likey! image

    I can see all my roses etc already bending over image
