The hydrangea has taken a beating from the rain the photo on the 'star...' thread shows how much. Although their colours are softer shades now there is still one or two blue left. Had to stake them - more rain to come.
On the plus side the grass is greener, the rugosa has more hips...changing seasons

Beau's mum, just seen your door! gorgeous !! exactly what I want! pvc should be banned! ( good job I think that as we're in a conservation area and have to keep wooden sashes, just had living room bay done for an eye waterin sum and that didn't include painting! ) no wonder we can't afford to do all the other things on my list...
