Yvie, can't believe your neighbour got away with that extention!

Could you get some big pots and put fast growing climbers in. Or put a fancy  fence 'extention' along the  top of your fence and grow something along that (from a pot)

BM, its on the market as we speak!  I did think about growing something behind the BBQ but we cook on it where it is and I think the heat would damage anything behind it. There is not enough room to move it forward enough to prevent damage.  Funny you should mention painting the shed, I had thought about that and I might investigate it.  I also think I will grow in pots in front of the shed, they will need to be shade tolerant but I think I might try something quite tall.

I saw this desplay at Hampton Court and quite liked it.  I just have to make sure that I can still get the mower etc out of the shed.

you can just see the new bud (by the hydrangea). Oh, I do hope it doesn't open until the rains have passed.

Yvestie, Beaus idea of painting the shed is an excellent one image and plants in front would draw the eye away from the neighbours extension.

Now you've both got me looking at my shed !  image  hmm!  image
