Top pic looks liek assorted blue and white agapanthus.   2nd pic looks like perovskia but caryopteris is a good alternative for late blue flowers.  3rd pic looks like a white form of scabious.   No idea for 4.

I like your cast iron table and chairs.

Hey Yvie - we could form a New England look now! image

I'd love a formal Italianate garden but with this space it would be difficult to achieve. I have to think of possible resale - it would be for a family probably - so my dream of 'a parterre or two, a vista and view' will have to wait image

    That rhymed image

BM - sometimes seeing your garden in a pic gives you a totally different viewpoint of things. It's going to be lovely - plenty to look at. You won't even notice that shed in a year's time image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Cast Iron envy BM.  Love the blue and white agapanthus and your planting infront of the shed is really coming along.

You're right Fairy when I posted the pic of my brolly earlier in the year I couldnt believe it was my patio it looked so nice.  Much nicer than in real life.

Been too busy today to relax BM.  Ive been deadheading, planting bulbs, hellebore, lupins and hollyhocks for next year.  Just about to go in the shower to remove all the grime before visiting mum. I'm hoping to catch up on a bit of tv this evening and free up some space on the planner after the holiday.

Hi, sounds nice, browsed but couldn't see it. Can you copy it to upload a picture?

Saw some really bold designs, lovely colours but not me, if you know what I mean, couldn't live with them.

I always dither about changes to flooring image not just the expense but the fact that it's more permanent. Tend to go with nuetral/natural  and use cushions, pictures, flower arrangements, etc to reflect the season in colour, just move things around.
