Glad you liked the thread susan I'm afraid I didn't make the bunting, I have big ideas and intentions to make and then run out of days I did plan to make Xmas bunting but seem to run out of time again! Blooming nuisance having to go to work
The shed is the neighbours but not so bad now as I turned the swing seat away so not looking directly at it and in the summer planted lots of shrubs which are coming along lovely already. Think by the summer the shed will be long gone!
Yviestevie so glad to see you around again and very sorry to hear that your mum has not been well. Sending you lots of love and best wishes, I'm sure if your mum is anything like you she will get through this no matter what happens xxx
Looking forward to your cross stich pic, bet it's beautiful
As for your next project I think chairs would look lovely all different colours. My lady who sells the Annie Sloan paint sells in small tester pots too so that would be lot cheaper as the regular size tins are exspensive
RB take no notice of ED please post pic of new reindeer!
ED stop being a naughty boy Santa is watching you!
I have some silver sprayed twigs I put little lights and baubles on too. Put those in the dining room. Not doing the usual tree this year, have bought a small potted one which will be planted out in the garden afterwards.
Stargaze I always wanted to get a potted Christmas tree, I def will next year. Wonder how long they will survive in pots before they have to be planted out or potted on?
We always used to buy potted Xmas trees but only one has ever survived. This is because they are not usually pot grown but hacked out of the ground with a teeny bit of root with no feeding roots and plunged into too small a pot. They then get taken from cold outisde to hot inside and stressed even more.
A better bet would be to buy one from a proper nursery and nurture it but then you have a long wait for it to reach optimum size and have to look after it all year and keep potting it on over the years and then what do you do when it's too big for the house and then the garden?
The cut ones are grown as a renewable crop and get composted at the end. A lot less bovver.
