Lovely Photos BM and RB.  I have a metal Reindeer called Rod.  He sits in the conservatory all year.  Youngest grandaughter has decided to cover him in stickers so I will need to sort him out when I have a minute.

Got my latest cross stitch back from the framers.  Its a Michael Powell kit of Tenby Harbour.

Hi all just hoping to revive this thread from last year as I loved seeing and sharing all our lovely things image

Now I am moving I am realising that shabby chic actually means how many b****y cushions have I got?!!!! image And why???!!!! Luckily I have discovered vacuum bags from the pound shop! 3 cheers for the pound shop imageimageimage

  • If I lived nearer I'd help you pack Beaus. After moving my sister i'm a dab hand at wrapping and boxing up! It seems never ending......then you have to unpack it all!!!  Make sure you keep the kettle, teabags and milk to hand on moving day image Best wishes Beaus xx

You took the words out of my mouth lily.  I was going to mention the kettle etc.  when my Mum and Dad moved the removal people did all the packing and packed my Mum's shoes and she had to make the three hour journey in her fluffy slippersimage.

When we moved from Harrow to Belgium we also kept the vaccuum cleaner and dusters with us as we were going to be arriving 3 days ahead of the furniture - one of the benefits of departing long distance on a Friday.
