    hello all, biught some beautiful tiles nearly 2 years ago  plain oes duck egg blue, patterned cream with duck egg blue cow parsley... they went up yesterday ! HURRAH!!!

    Obelixx I thought I was organised for moving but sounds you are far more on it than me image brilliant idea about the cats but guess you was lucky being able to move them in first.  My boy cat hid for two days bless him. He is totally over it now! image

    I brought some of my plants with me too, about 50 pots! The removal man had kittens image

    Sorry everyone I found my shabby chic thread image

    just wanted to share my front garden shabby chic dream that is now real, so happy image

    haven't had time to weed or cut back yet but you'll see I have found perfect spot for all my tin pots etc that I brought with me placed under the kitchen window

    House looks lovely BM, just right for you. Love the planters, have had my eye on some metal ones for a while just not sure where I'd put them.  Ive posted a piccy of more pink on the forkers thread especially for you.

    I love the metal tubs and the blue pots.  Lovely looking house and garden too.

    I found some old galvanised laundry tubs in a street market here a few years ago. The biggest and widest (mini bath tub style) has been painted a satin black and has been used as an ice bucket for beers when we had big BBQs but now we have a drinks fridge so it can become a planter.  Then there's a straight sided one I painted red and green and stencilled with gold snowflakes to hold the Xmas tree and one more to paint up or leave natural.  Decisions decisions.

    Whilst walking the dogs the other day I found an 8" square, slightly rusty, cream metal bird cage which I rescued.  It'll look great with a trailing plant or candle in it.

    loved your pink bench yviestevie image I'm sure we can find room for a tin bucket or two in your garden.  How about in front of your newly painted garden shed?

    would love to see pics of yours obellix when you make your final decisions and then once they are painted you have to decide what to put in them image

    oh susan your neighbours fairy grotto sounds lovely, do you think she will let you share a pic? Did you receive my last email after we moved?
