Have just ordered 2 new shelf units for kitchen, very shabby chic, painted in farrow and ball French grey with love hearts cut out, also a new rug, not my 1st choice that was very pale, a mid beige with cream flower outline, more sensible with two tiny ones

Shelves sound lovely Rosemummy, don't forget to post piccy when in situe.

I have finished painting the playhouse to match the shed.  Before and after piccies below.  Have also planted up the pots in front of the shed.  I've posted a piccy but as I said they are planted with bulbs, have only put a few pansies on top to add some immediate colour, hopefully they will look good in the spring.

I really wanted to paint the struts in the windows white but they are fixed inside and can't be removed.

The coffee morning was a success even though it had to be put off for a week (neighbour having building work completed) and autumn turned into the monsoon season!  image

Everyone enjoyed the coffee, tea and cake, plants to swop, a surprise lucky dip, garden to explore and lots of chatting about gardens. Donations to local hospice.

So, photos to give the general idea

scoffed cake in the kitchen (not a crumb left), chatted in the sitting room, then the sun came out  so we wandered around the garden - a lovely morning  image
