My peeled look was kinda tongue in cheek as the chairs are pretty old and peeling already I don't know if you have seen Rachel ashwell shabby chic design but her style is beautiful so hoping they will turn out like hers They are cast iron and I'm just doing white again
I hope we can make some suggestions of days out, I'll try and think of some places while I'm at work
Phew! a really busy couple of days, so just catching up. Hope your working week hasn't been too taxing Beaus and youv'e got time to relax
Yes, it would be good if a garden suitable to visit could be found to suit us from different areas, thinking caps on!
Talking of which, I'm going to visit Picton Gardens and Nursery on Sunday. They have a national collection of asters, a sight to see I'm told. I'll take photos if I can.
I think my garden is more shabby cottage than chic , looked at Rachael Ashwell's web site and like the colours she uses, some of her designs were on a site with others for cottage/ shabby chic garden furniture - some good ideas there. Your chairs will look just right, I know.
Peeked at the various threads, some stunning photos and plants, hope the waether inmproves for the weekend. Have a good one everyone
Good morning, looks like its gonna be perfect gardening weekend
Work was good thank you and was nice to be back and catch up with all my colleagues, like I was never off now
Def will have to get thinking caps on re garden visits especially as had lovely surprise this week in the post from my BF, a life time membership with the RHS and you get free garden visit passes with it
Hope you have lovely day Sunday and look forward to the pics
I think like you my garden is shabby cottage too, think we have created a new design!
Glad you like the Rachel ashwell website, I spend many a day in her books dreaming
Morning everyone, a cup of coffee, or is it too early? I'm browsing whilst waiting for the rain to blow over.
The saga of my messages goes on I can read the messages but not reply and on top of that in this area they are upgrading the fibre-optics for faster internet connections : result, keep losing the internet connection.
However, gives more time in the garden (and allotment) and for garden visiting. Between that and the lovely photos on here I have a long list for next year
Beaus, pleased that you have finished re- planting the shrubs a good time for them to get established, love to see the photos.
