    Thank you Verdun, real praise as it comes from you.

    My garden isn't as well looked after and planned as yours. But there is too much of it, that's just the middle bit of the flower garden, there's a higher bit, a lower bit and a bit round the other side where the cherry trees are. Sometimes I think I'm mad turning paddock and farmyard into garden. But I love it.

    I thought I'd post some pics of the very new front border.  It was only dug out of the lawn this March so still quite bare, but I'm pleased with the way the colours are working.

    I've also got an Echinops I bought from Woottens the other day to replace the Morning Glories when they finish, a purple Salvia greggii to go in front of the paler achillea, and an Echinacea purpurea Magnus and Aster frikartii Monch to fit in somewhere. 

     Ignore the lawn - restoration still in progress.

    It's great to see and enjoy so many photos of other friends gardens, some large and some smaller.

    I'm glad I found this gallery, now I can enjoy and learn from you lovely well experienced gardeners.
