Just off to football Lily, I will look later or on the morning as I have the packets somewhere, or they were in the GW mag, possibly sept/oct time. Be back later x
Hi, this is the area along the roadside of my garden - lime trees above - about a month ago. It was covered in brambles and nettles when I moved into the house and I'm really pleased how its come on. The snowflakes and hellebores were there already, but have really come on now they have space to breathe. I added the geranium clumps from elsewhere in the garden and planted the daffs. Further along, more recently I've added hosta and more hellebore and split some snowflake clumps, and added pulmonaria ( unfortunately right on top of a snowflake clump before it appeared!!) I've got some brunnera to go in, and next year planning cyclamen around the base of the tree. I forumed for advice on it last year so thanks all for your help.
Thanks Lily. I've really enjoyed looking at all your lovely gardens and plants (rather enviously) on this thread. My groundworks (path, moving soil around, gh base) are being finished this month so looking forward to building some lovely beds too.
Hi Lily, the tulips are Ballerina (the red ones flowering now), Queen of the night and Purple Prince, I think the ones to the left are the Queen of the Night ones as they look at bit taller than the others and Purple Prince are the smallest according to the info
Love your bride Lizzie. I invested in one last year (had never heard of it til I saw your pics of it here last year), which is growing nicely, but not flowered this year .... Maybe next ....
Hope you are pleased that the "Lizzie" effect has gone global
