Hi Rosemummy. Yes that first picture is a Cistus.

Fg. I went out to have another look at my I. crysographes, and it looks different to yours, so I am not sure what yours is.

How can you lie there and think of England

  • Your gardens look absolutely stunning. What a wonderful time of year. I have that to look forward to as we are into winter here in Oz now. That rose is beautiful Busy- Lizzie. Is it Mme. Isaac Pereire? I used to have that one, may have to get it again! If it is. imageimage I think the seasons are a little confused here as I have buds on my Devoniensis rose and Crepescule is absolutely covered in buds too. I should be pruning but don't have the heart to. image Keep those gorgeous photos coming. I am drooling!

Thank you. That rose is William Shakespeare, think I've sent it before, but I'm pleased with it, it was such a little thing when I bought it from a French garden centre this spring, reduced price.

What a lovely delicate rose that is, OL.
